Quincy Care Auxiliary

Our Heritage

Since its founding in 1902, the Quincy Care Auxiliary has been committed to supporting the mission of Quincy Village by providing high-quality care to the residents of the Colestock Health Center. The affiliation with the United Methodist Church and other churches in the community continues the tradition of being a faith-based provider of service to the residents of Colestock Center in which people of all faiths are welcome.

Our goal is to enrich the lives of Quincy’s residents living in the Colestock Health Center through volunteerism, activities and financial support. Our membership includes residents of Quincy Village, neighbors, family members of residents in Colestock Center and local church members who reside in the surrounding area.

Making a Difference

The Auxiliary raises funds in order to purchase items that enhance the quality of life for residents of the Colestock Health Center; funds also have been raised to help with facility renovations. In addition to fundraising activities, members coordinate holiday parties and assist with resident-focused events.

Auxiliary members play a critical role in the lives of Quincy Colestock Health Center residents. The impact of the Auxiliary is immeasurable.

Auxiliary members have the opportunity to share their knowledge and skills with others. They become ambassadors in the community and in their churches. They receive the immense satisfaction of helping others.
